Annual Meeting scheduled for March 28, 9:30 a.m., location TBD.
In attendance: Carolyn Walker Davis, Valerie Westen, Patrice Pagano and Sue Royce.
Introductions: Patrice Pagano introduced herself to the group and gave us a brief history of her extensive and impressive flying back ground
Discussed future activities:
January 23: Compass rose painting at Petaluma, which is now scheduled for January 23 at 10 a.m. Plan is to meet at the gate near Terminal/Two Niner Diner at 10 to enter as a group.
February 21: Scheduled a fly-in for Half Moon Bay on February 21. Plan is to all meet at HAF at 11:30 a.m. Hopefully some of us can leave at the same time from Petaluma Municipal and fly down together. Whoever needs a ride, please let us know. This can serve as our 99’s February meeting so we will not meet after the Gnoss Field Community Association meeting on February 14.
We discussed protocol for communicating between planes in flight and use of frequencies 122.75 and 123.45
March 28: Annual meeting for the Marin 99’s Chapter, scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 9:30 a.m. Location TBD
April 18: 99’s will have a table at the Petaluma Airport’s Display Day to hand out brochures and answer questions about who we are and what we do. Will keep you updated as we get closer to event.
Also discussed:
1. Putting a directory together with member’s contact info. Sue Royce is coordinating the information for now.
2. Giving a scholarship from Marin 99’s
3. Newsletter and getting Meaghan some assistance with that
