24 Girl Scouts from two local troops attended a 2 hour class today given by
Barbara O’Grady, which included aerodynamics, reading a flight sectional,
preflight of an airplane, traffic patterns at an airport and a great lunch
afterwards in Sue’s hangar. Good chance we will be seeing many of these
girls in a few years for flight training, as they seemed pretty excited
about the idea of flying an airplane.
