Marin County 99s

On October 5, over 50 Girl Scouts attended an Aviation Class taught by Certified Ground Instructor, Barbara O’Grady.  They learned about aerodynamics, avionics, flight sectionals, traffic patterns and did a
preflight with members of our Marin 99s Chapter.  Capt. Dave Nicholson, Civil Air Patrol Commander of Squadron 23, gave a short description of the opportunities as a CAP cadet.  Let’s hope we see some of these little scouts return to the airport for flight lessons. It was a very fun day had by all.
