September 26-27 – Wings Over Wine Country Air Show 2015 at Santa Rosa (www.wingsoverwinecountry.org) – The Canadian Forces Snowbirds, F-16, F-86, Wings of Blue U.S. Skydiving team and much more!!
*VAL NEEDS OUR HELP: Val Suberg, Chair of the Santa Rosa 99s Chapter, could use our help at their 99s booth at the air show. Karen Kalua, Sherry Vakharia, Meaghan Bertram and I are planning on helping out on Saturday. Please give either me or Val a call if you can help, too. Val’s Cell: 707/291-8727. We will get you wrist bands for entry into air show.

October 24 – Young Eagles Flights during Gnoss Field Safety Weekend – EAA NEEDS PILOTS for flying Young Eagles – On Saturday, October 24, the EAA will be offering free flights for the Young Eagles from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.. If you are able to take a couple of young kids up for a short but inspiring first flight, please contact Ken Mercer, 415-378-8504 or e-mail him at kmercer@marincounty.org. Ken can get you FREE membership with the EAA and help with other details. There will be a short briefing at 9 a.m. for those volunteering pilots. We fly from 10 – 1. CONTACT KEN!!
October 24 – 6:00 p.m. – Mexican Fiesta Buffet – Includes Beer, Wine, Spring Salad, Chipotle Black Beans, Spanish Rice, Fajita Style Grill, dessert and more. December 5 – Marin County Chapter of the Ninety-Nines joint Pot Luck Holiday Party – with the Gnoss Field Community Association (GFCA) and Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA). Location: Scanlon Hangar. More details to follow.
