We could not have asked for better weather for our fly-in on Saturday, March 26. It was VFR at all 3 of our departure airports, DVO, O69 and STS and our arrival airport, Stockton, SCK. Big thanks to Dan Bedford and Val Westen, Karen Kalua and Cindy Pickett for flying us all to Stockton in their airplanes. Also, I’d like to welcome Rhonda Nillson to the Marin 99s and participating in her first fly-in with us!! Cindy scheduled a great walking tour of downtown Stockton, which was followed by a yummy lunch at Midgley Public House. From there, we all piled in the van (compliments of Atlantic Aviation) and headed over to the Haggin Museum, which has the largest fine art collection in the California central valley. We departed Stockton, KSCK at around 4:00-4:15 and everyone was safely back to Marin and Sonoma Counties by 5. Can’t wait for our next fly-in on April 30. Considering we have already shaken up our fly-in schedule a bit, lets’ plan on Auburn for a destination in April. More to follow.
